The RK2020 is a handheld running an OpenSource Linux OS.
It has been specifically created to run emulators and different game engines.
Basically, the RK2020 is the same as an Odroid Go Advance - except for that you don't need to assemble it yourself and it has two buttons less.
Apart from that, it's fully compatible.
The included 3.5" display features a resolution of 320x480, which works very well with retro games and also allows nice hires menus.
For controls, it features a DPAD, ABXY buttons, four shoulder buttons and an analogue stick.
The 1.3GHz CPU is fast enough to run most systems up to the SEGA Dreamcast. Yes, it runs quite a few Dreamcast games at perfectly playable speeds (don't expect them all to run perfect, though!)
The system boots directly off the SD Card, so there is no internal storage that can break and make the system unusable. And you can decide the amount of storage you need by simply using an SD Card the size you want.
Please note: We do NOT INCLUDE AN SD CARD in the package!
You need to get your own SD Card and install the OS yourself (which is very easy, just flash an image to an SD Card using a tool like Balena Etcher or Win32Diskimager.
And if you're running Windows, you might want to install Paragon LinuxFS to copy your ROMs onto the SD Card.
We suggest to use EmuELEC as an OS, as it's possible to configure the buttons and it therefore works best with the RK2020.
